Delay!!! …
And now there is a delay but they don’t know when the coach will turn up. Looks like I could be here quite some time 😩
And the wait continues…
And the wait continues … waiting for departure gate be announced for my coach back to London. Estimated departure is 01:15
Paris here I come (for the 3rd time!)
I’m now at the flixbus stop and awaiting the Paris coach to take me back to Bercy Seine ahead of the coach back to London!
Approaching Rouen
And now on the final approach to Rouen and a 2hr wait for the Flixbus back to Paris to connect to London. I think it’s dinner time. I’m starving! 🤣🤣
I’m off again on next train 😊
And … I’m now off on the high speed SNCF train to Rouen in Northern France, the region of Normandie. Just over an hour then I will be there!
Delayed 😩
Soo arrived at Longnaeu Station and got delayed by half hour without moving due to a signalling problem. Always with me 🤣. Anyway that means I’m going to miss my coach which I had booked so I’ve had to pay a fortune for a new coach!!

And I’m off… on board the 10:22 local time SNCF train to Lille. 2 1/2 hour train ride and it’s a double decker - my favourite
Approach to Gare Du Nord
And … on my final approach to Gare Du Nord Station via the Metro System. Very modern trains. I had to change lines and first metro train was a double decker! Very impressed. McDonald’s for breakfast I think now 🤣🤣. Train departs 10:22 local time
Hello city of love!
We have now arrived into the Paris City Region! Soon we’ll be pulling into Paris Bercy Seine Bus Station which is going to be one of the weirdest bus station I’ve ever been too! It’s sited underneath a park (yes, underneath a park). Oh well, let’s see what it’ll be like in 30 or so minutes

And we have finally arrived into Calais and waiting to offload from the DFDS ferry! Paris here we come 😊

And we’re off!! Here we come France. 90 minutes then we will reach Calais
Port of Dover arrival & No Queues!!!
That has amazed me … arrived at Dover Port and queues were non existent and we were through within 15 minutes with 42 passengers + 2 drivers!! Anyway we are not waiting for our DFDS ferry scheduled to depart at 02:20hrs BST. Hopefully it will be on time. To top it all off we have been given a vouche...

And now … I’m at North Greenwich Millennium Way waiting for the Flixbus to Paris. It is due at 22:45 but according to live tracker it is running approx 7mins late. Hopefully traffic at Dover is ok considering recent weeks!!!

And I’m now at Lewisham waiting for the 108 bus to North Greenwich to get the coach to Paris!

I am now prepared for my adventure starting tomorrow evening. As soon as I reach Purley you will be able to receive regular updates and photos from my trip!! Time to be announced tomorrow afternoon
